We’re a specialist employment service for the Australian tourism industry, supporting businesses searching for talent and candidates looking for their next placement. Launched in October 2020, Tourism Employment and Training has quickly grown to over 6,000 members looking for full time, part time and relief work in caravan parks, holiday parks and other tourism businesses Australia-wide.
Our founders, Natalie McAlister and Michelle Hanson, have a combined 60+ years’ experience in the tourism industry and recognised the need for a simple employment platform to connect employers and candidates directly. Leveraging our vast industry network and specialist expertise, we began connecting employers with candidates. At a time when Australian tourism is booming, getting the right people into the right roles has never been more important, and doing so quickly and easily is a must for operators and candidates alike.
With our offering now expanded to include online tourism training courses through a range of affiliated training providers, we are so proud to be giving back to this incredible industry.

Meet our founders
Natalie McAlister
From working at her parents’ holiday park at a young age to building her operational expertise through extensive relief and park management roles across the country, the tourism industry is in Natalie’s blood. With property management experience in both tourism and residential sectors, she understands the unique challenges facing operators today.
Now at home with a 2 year old daughter, Natalie sees Tourism Employment & Training as the perfect avenue to share her passion for the tourism industry, while using her expertise and connections to benefit the sector’s sustainability and growth.
